This is a documentary by Douglas Mallette which points out the problems we face today, why they exist, and how to truly solve them once and for all. He discuss technology, why it is so important in our daily lives and how we can use it to improve our lives. He also goes into the topic of scarcity and why it exists. This is a very good documentary and you can see that it was inspired by zeitgeist and TVP. Good work we need more people that makes documentaries like this. 10/10
The first video of this doc felt a little like a Zeitgeist hack-job, but subsequent videos actually bring a decent amount of new and interesting data and analysis to the table.
It’s going to be hard as hell to package the same ideas and not have at least some of it seem like a hack job… the ideas are not going to change that much… we just have to keep hammering… (even if it is the same info)
Just like Zeitgeist this documentary conflates the current economic system with free market capitalism aka anarchism. Blaming the currency and not the coercion by government. Can’t solve social problems with the initiation of force.
