This 30-minute documentary is the first from an original series of eight made for television in 1966. They were the earliest sound-films of Krishnamurti speaking to audiences. Jiddu Krishnamurti , (12 May 1895 – 17 February 1986) was a writer and speaker on philosophical and spiritual issues. His subject matter included psychological revolution, the nature of the mind, meditation, human relationships, and bringing about positive change in society.
Maintaining that society is ultimately the product of the interactions of individuals, he held that fundamental societal change can emerge only through freely undertaken radical change in the individual. He constantly stressed the need for a revolution in the psyche of every human being and emphasized that such revolution cannot be brought about by any external entity, be it religious, political, or social.

…a man whose words will bring all questioning to end. A man who, as if an immovable rock, will bring one to truth every single time….
Listen people, I love this man and his teachings of what is what. But, I have my own theory which I call the theory of chaos. In it I discovered that whatever a man says, whatever a man does, it’s not worth at all.People like to do whatever the cost of their senses just to be happy. So chaos rules and chaos is only absolute law that exists in universe. As universe expands in all directions since the beginning of time, so the chaos expands and at the end it will all come back to zero.Everyone lives to it.We are nothing, we are then born, we live as children, we become adults, then we grow old and die.So trying to understand something more than the usual is utopia. Our brains have limits, the man is not capable of understanding the big questions, we are just part of the chaos as many other civilizations that exist.
yes i can agree why one would perceive the universe as “chaotic”, however it is not really chaos because (whether or not you believe) it follows a law at every degree. This is giving one a philosophy of the intelligence humans can grasp and what it may become if grasped. Our social structure changing would not be impossible, and even if possible, complete chaos will never occur because not all people are chaotic and some find the reward when working to survive in a non-violent way. This is the behavior we must promote to our elders and children in order to change our destructive mindset, but the fall of the monetary system is necessary as well because this is the producer of greed, ownership, and lack of concern for others. But if you want to theorize that chaos will take over the “whole” then that’s sad, because saying “we cant do it” before even doing it only puts this transition another step backward. Have fun with spreading your theory.
Great thinker and way ahead of his time! The fascinating thing is to apply his discussion to politics and economics of how our governments indicate they know answers to our problems both within borders or outside borders. It is a dysfunctional condition to have evolved for the last 100 years the way we have. Milton Freidman nor Alan Greenspan have the answers in the monetary system…This ought to be discussed in High Schools or grade schools. Very profound to be digested…!
