Body language is a form of non-verbal communication, which consists of body posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye movements. Humans send and interpret such signals almost entirely subconsciously. John Borg attests that human communication consists of 93 percent body language and paralinguistic cues, while only 7% of communication consists of words themselves; however, Albert Mehrabian, the researcher whose 1960s work is the source of these statistics, has stated that this is a misunderstanding of the findings[2] (see Misinterpretation of Mehrabian’s rule). Others assert that “Research has suggested that between 60 and 70 percent of all meaning is derived from nonverbal behavior.” Body language may provide clues as to the attitude or state of mind of a person. For example, it may indicate aggression, attentiveness, boredom, relaxed state, pleasure, amusement, and intoxication, among many other cues.

I am sorry but I watched some of this and it is utter toss. Typical history channel unfounded suppositions are rife and it is dramatised to instill the idea that body language is some sort of super power.
Now body language is a tool that can be used very effectivly, that is certian. But from this you will learn nothing.
If 93% of communication is non-verbal, how come i don’t (can’t) understand 93% of what Japanese (Chinese or other non-related languages to English) people are speaking about….
….. I just don’t get 110% …
or maybe those 93% are just shit non meaning full things that i don’t relate to
I watched this video because I’m getting into psychology of humans, body language and how the human mind works. This video seems to fit in with what i’m looking at especially the micro-movement. I got into this type of thing after playing a few games of poker and wondering how to spot lies and tells within the human body and find out ways to find personality traits and work out how people would react to certain things. might work on changing my voice a bit as well to see what happens at a test.
