What a bunch of crap. This documentary is terrible. I couldn’t even make it all of the way through. This guy only did enough research to justify his claims, which are bogus. Claiming that Aleister Crowley recommending the sacrifice of a nine year old child as the ideal sacrifice as if this was proof he was some black magician. That statement by Crowley was taken completely out of context, and he failed to mention that Crowley was “kidding around” and trying to get a rise out his reading audience, which Crowley did very often. Crowley also claimed to have sacrificed several children over a short period of time. This, of course, wasn’t true, but rather, was Crowley’s way of shocking his readers (what Crowley was actually talking about was masterbation, as his ejaculation was the “sacrifice of children”, not actual living breathing kids).
There is a general theme of darkness with regard to magic. NOT ALL MAGICK IS BLACK MAGIC! In fact, magic is neither black, nor white, it is neutral. What matters is the intent behind the magic that determines whether it is for good or evil.
The sole purpose of magic is not always the summoning of spirits. Again, his Yeats quote was taken out of context. Magic is the means of causing change in comformity with one’s will. That is it. If one does a candle magic ritual to acquire $20.00, they aren’t summoning spirits. The sole purpose, if any, of magic is enlightenment. It is to unite with one’s own Higher Genius, or Higher Self, which is in turn united with God.
The biggest load of crap is put forth in the very beginning. He bases his claims on the fact that the Knights Templars “admitted” during the Inquisition that they performed terrible rituals and such. Maybe they did admit to some of these things, but let us not forget the fact that they were TORTURED. It has been proven in modern times over and over that if you put anyone through enough stress and or pain, etc, that they will admit or confess to whatever you want them to confess to. This alone makes these admissions by the Templars suspicious. Not to mention, the church was trying to eradicate them, so how can we know for sure that these were the “real” confessions? The testimonies simply cannot be trusted, and for this guy to base his argument on these “confessions” is piss poor research and makes for a weak and un-scientific argument.
I don’t even want to go into the “kabbalah” issue. It is a sacred, mystical tradition of the Jewish people that has developed over thousands of years. It is not evil, it is Holy, which is why it is often refered to as the Holy Qabalah. This guy is nothing more than a sensationalizing fear mongor.

I know sensationalist bull when I hear it and this is prime bull.

Interestingly frustrating. A lot of nodding to Hollywood really dispels this as anything you can consider as serious though there are many facts consistent with my readings. Frustrating because the Spanish(?) subtitles obliterate the English captions. It gets very busy when there’s scenes from Hollywood movies that also have German subtitles underneath the Spanish ones and the English captions. As a film, I think it’s pretty crap. Appallingly produced audio tracks – scenes from movies suffer from very low level. How do producers miss this? However, it does interest me enough to research some of the “claims”. Reckon this guy’s sitting pretty from producing such crap that appeals to the mainstream who are just starting to look beyond their own realities. Destructive because I’m sure many will swallow it at face value. I’m about halfway through.. it’s been a bit of an effort because I think the narration is also dodgy – too slow, not engaging enough and a bit too “try hard” to sound authentic. Worthy of a short watch is about all I got to say.;)
