The self-actualization phenomenon known as The Secret pivots on the time-honored new age notion of the Laws of Attraction: That is, think positively, and positive things will come to you. This film, originally broadcast over the Internet, has been enhanced and extended for this DVD edition; but it retains the essential elements that have captivated millions. Most of the material here is given in a straightforward manner, with the presenters simply talking into the camera to address the audience directly, which is good because it avoids the trap of pretense. On the other hand, the quick edits between presenters (would it hurt to let them say more than one sentence at a time?) don’t help because it reduces many of their points to palatable sound bites and aphorisms.

what about a bigger picture im not starving and im not poor, but i think about people who are and if im encoraged not to think about them the problem doesnt go away and hardly helps i am however a firm believer of positive mental attitude, i think we all are but when you are suffering and feel like you need help from other humans and they are all being encouraged to think for them selves and to stay away from negative thoughts, in all this film leaves a very selfish taste in my mouth.
and I would argue that rich people only mix with the rich due to class discrimination and that is why the rich get richer, thier power grows with there bank-balance untill they can influence laws and legislation wich ensures there monopoly on a particular market.
and i would say that your negative emotions also keep us balanced and do serve a purpose, this video may help some pessimists but you would be very naive to believe you can just ‘think’ your way out of some of todays modern problems.
having said that the sky high rates of debt per gdp across europe could be resulting in a mass think of people saying over and over to them selves i cant offord this! and the end result in the euro collapsing lol
You sooo missed the point…watch it a few more times maybe?
