THRIVE is an unconventional documentary that lifts the veil on what’s REALLY going on in our world by following the money upstream — uncovering the global consolidation of power in nearly every aspect of our lives. Weaving together breakthroughs in science, consciousness and activism, THRIVE offers real solutions, empowering us with unprecedented and bold strategies for reclaiming our lives and our future.

This is an extraordinary film, the production was very nice. Kudos to the Thrive Movement and it’s correspondents. I know a lot of Zeit-sters are going to shun anything from it because it doesn’t explicitly mention how money is obsolete and so on. What this film focuses on is FREE ENERGY. The real source for all humanitarian movements is FREE ENERGY. Without it, there’s no way to accomplish anything worth while.
The problem I had with Thrive is that the core message about free energy is bunk and the “science” it promotes is bad. That is why people should very carefully scrutinize its claims as they should with everything. I did exactly as the host, Mr. Gamble said and went to their site to find out about the “vortex equilibrium” since he claimed all the “facts” presented were cited there. Nothing. This pattern that he has spent years researching and found in thousands of places and works by others is not cited properly and referenced. It is just thrown out there for people to gobble up. Yet with TZM and TVP you can research and find working, demonstrated technologies like geothermal, hydroponics and aqua-ponics systems, etc. And you can find scholarly, peer reviewed, professionals and experts that also support their views on how human values and intelligence is shaped and how it can be and is abberated by the conditions of our civilization.
There is no need for an NWO to cause the problems we have. Competition breeds differential advantage and the combining and hoarding of resources of all kinds. There is the creation of haves and have-nots without needing a conspiracy to do it.
If there are UFOs (and I do believe there are unidentified objects zipping around) that is secondary to solving the immediate challenge of showing people the potential of the technology and knowledge we have right now. No psuedo-science needed. Once that is figured out and people are provided for then a real search into the topic can be taken, maybe without the repeated rehashing of out right WRONG information. (Specifically the image of the “helicopter”, “saucer”, and “submarine”… this has been conclusively proven to be two different pharaohs names carved over the same area and some of the plaster has broken away.)
I am all for people spreading awareness of the challenges humanity faces but this film is drivel and the hundreds (probably thousands now) of uncritical supporters on YouTube drowning out anyone who dares ask a question illustrates it.
Point out that the claims made are not supported and have yet to be publicly demonstrated and you are said to either be a COINTELPRO operative under the pay and control of the NWO and the Illuminati or are just not “open minded” enough to understand the true spirit and message.
Ask for one public demonstration of a Free Energy/Over Unity machine open to review by professional physicists and engineers and you are told to “do the research yourself and build one! It is out there!” Sorry, the skeptics like me are not the ones making the positive claim, Thrive and its supporters are. Somebody even told me anyone with 100 level understanding of electronics can make one. Okay, but the brilliant minds and top scientists in the world in high energy particle physics that built the LHC didn’t manage to stumble onto something any community college student should be able to do? Where are the dozens or hundreds of people who’ve built these things? Where is the national free energy convention to once and for all make it public? The NWO wouldn’t dare suppress/kill them all, but if they did then hey there is some evidence that the conspiracy is real.
I’ll end here by saying none of it passes the smell test and there are many other better docs out there in my humble opinion.
Yes. It’s amazing how the torus shows up everywhere. It’s universal and it’s great!

This guy never doubts himself for a second. What a rotten piece of propaganda. You might be better off believing what you see on the corporate news!!! This isn’t the type of thinking that is going to change anything.
I haven’t watched this documentary but your commentary on it was excellent, very well articulated and diplomatic in my mind. I have watched all the zeitgeist movies and found them to be excellent, they do not claim anything that cannot actually be done, with time and hopefully, within time. You mention many other better documentaries out there better than thrive, I’d appreciate knowing which one’s you’d recommend. Thanks for the excellent review!
I think you were asking me, so I’ll take a stab at it…
Of course if you haven’t already, go watch the older (and somewhat cheesy productions IMHO) from The Venus Project whether you agree with them or not. What is important is to listen to the broad claims made by Jacque about what is or should be possible. I then usually direct people to watch everything on TED talks you can related to technology. If you ignore the projections of costs and just focus on the message of what can be done as if money wasn’t a factor. It lines up perfectly with Fresco and Fullers projections. (I would also say watch the social TED videos, especially one by Prof. Hans Rosling called New Insights on Poverty and Life around the world – His message at the end completely trounces the need for economic development to bring everyone up to amazing standards of living in short order compared to previous generations because technology allows them to leapfrog the need for the slow and wasteful development process the west went through.)
I also include on packs of discs for people:
Garbage Warrior
Gas Hole
2012 – Time for Change (It isn’t as “woo woo” as it the title sounds…)
Money As Debt 1, 2, & 3 (Though I respectfully disagree with where 3 ends up and how it got there.)
The RSA Animate videos (These trash human nature claims and our ideas of what motivates us…)
Ethos
Overdose
“I lost my job” only came our recently so I haven’t been able to spread it much, but it is good too.
If you have the time TROM is worth going through but it is huge in scope but uses many of the same sources as the Zeitgeist films. (Not that it is a bad thing but I am trying to focus personally on more and more wide ranging presenters and sources from different areas of study and industry that seem to be saying the same thing… more corroborating data is good which Thrive severely lacks.)
If you are into the technology side of things (I’m no engineer but I am very interested in what tech can do) hit YouTube and search for videos of robots, especially those being demonstrated at trade shows where the cutting edge is. NEXTAGE by Kawada industries is quite impressive and freed from cost constraints hints at what would be possible in a better future.

I also encourage people who are readers to pick up Daniel Quinn’s Ishmael series. It is fiction but it so clearly articulates the problem civilization faces, other historical aspects of how we got here, and labels some abstract concepts in a way that I personally found invaluable. Also Jeremy Rifkin’s The End of Work. Read R. Buckminster Fuller’s Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth. Get books on vertical farming (I know of at least one as I have it in my car right now), hydroponics and aquaponics, and general urban gardening to see what is possible and what is already being done even if you don’t intend to do it yourself.
Last I would say check out groups like the Transition movement, Community Planet, and The Urban Farming Guys for ideas that parallel many aspects of the life style changes that would be necessary to adopt in large numbers to realize an RBE as proposed by TVP and TZM. I know there are more but I am not on my main system right now with access to my notes to list them all.
I hope that helps!
